Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
1. Eligibility
• Only clothes in good, presentable condition are eligible:
• No significant fading
• No tears, dents, or major damage
• Clean and odor-free
2. Condition Verification & Rejection
• Items failing the above criteria may be rejected upon inspection, at your discretion.
• If you reject an item due to poor condition, refund will follow these terms:
• A partial refund may be offered (e.g., 50% of the assessed value), or
• No refund, depending on severity and your discretion.
• Clearly communicate this in your policy to manage seller expectations.
3. Refund Processing Timeline
• Inspections are conducted promptly.
• If reimbursement is approved, payouts will be completed within 3–5 business days.
4. “Change of Mind” Clause
• Not eligible for refunds if sellers change their mind after your inspection (similar to many resale platforms).
• This helps maintain operational clarity and fairness.
5. Handling Disputes or Discrepancies
• If there’s a challenge regarding a rejected item:
• Offer sellers the chance to request a second review, with submission of additional photos or a short video.
• Final decisions are binding, but transparency can build trust.
6. Clear Communication
Make sure your sellers know exactly what to expect:
• Showcase the “No Returns for Change of Mind” policy prominently.
• Provide visual examples of acceptable vs. unacceptable items.
• Share clear instructions for returning or sending in items, including how to contest a decision.
⸻
Why This Works
• Protects your interests: Limits processing costs and risks from unusable or borderline items.
• Sets seller expectations fairly: They know exactly what’s acceptable and the process if items are rejected.
• Aligns with established platforms: Many resale or consignment services follow similar non-refundable terms unless the condition is misrepresented
